Support the dream of affordable plus-size fashion for all!

Over the years, my business has faced numerous challenges, but we've always found a way to persevere. One of our biggest hurdles came just a month after celebrating our first anniversary when COVID-19 forced us to shut down. Despite minimal promotional funds, we grew, mainly relying on word of mouth and person-to-person connections. While our growth has been slower than those with larger advertising budgets, we've built a warm, inclusive community of shoppers, friends, and family. This incredible support system, a little luck, and a lot of hard work have allowed us to overcome obstacles with so little start-up capital.

I was finally beginning to feel like things were on track, even managing to set aside some funds for promotion. Then Hurricane Helene hit. While I was fortunate that both my home and shop were spared from flooding, we were without power, water, and cell service for nearly a month. My house has had power and safe water restored, but there is still no Wi-Fi. My shop still has no water, though the electricity and Wi-Fi are back up. Unfortunately, this means by the time we reopen, we will have been closed an entire month—a crucial month leading into the slower winter season.

The financial loss from this closure is around $10,000. While I am exploring loan and grant options, the idea of taking on more debt, especially while still repaying COVID relief loans, is overwhelming. I will continue to do everything I can with the resources available, but I’m reaching out to our community for help. If you'd like to support More To Love's reopening, here are some ways you can help—many of which cost nothing:

  • Follow us on social media and share our posts: INSTAGRAM FACEBOOK TIKTOK

  • Pre-purchase an eGift card through Square to use in-store after we reopen on November 1st, 10% off Gift Cards: You can purchase those HERE

*Gift cards do not expire but do not work with the online store; they only work in-store. However, I can custom-make an order for you if you see something you want online. Just contact me before checkout.

  • Consider donating to our GoFundMe to help us recover from the impact of Hurricane Helene and avoid taking on more debt. To learn more about that, visit our GoFundMe HERE

Your support, in any form, means the world to me and helps keep our community strong. Thank you so much for being part of this journey.
