At More To Love, we don’t just carry mainstream plus-size brands — we actively seek out alternative labels, rarer high-end pieces, handmade fashion, and upcycled clothing whenever they’re available. The plus-size clothing market is often limited, with fewer style choices and higher prices. Many collections can feel overly cohesive, leaving shoppers with less variety and less excitement. That’s why we work hard to carry as many plus-size brands as possible — offering a wide range of styles and price points in one place.

Alongside popular plus-size brands like Lane Bryant, Torrid, Catherines, and Ashley Stewart, we also look for harder-to-find and more alternative labels such as ModCloth, Universal Standard, Selkie, Loud Bodies, and other boutique designers when they come through resale. Because we are a plus-size consignment and resale boutique, we aren’t locked into just one brand’s aesthetic. We’re able to mix mall brands, department store labels, contemporary designers, and standout alternative fashion together — helping create more diversity in style and more flexibility in pricing.

While the majority of our inventory focuses on trusted plus-size brands and affordable resale pieces, only a small section is currently handmade or upcycled — and we want to be clear about that. This is something we are intentionally working to grow in 2026, both in-store in Asheville and in our online plus-size shop. In November, collaborating with Maggie Webber (Refashioned Hippie) really proved how much unique fashion is wanted. She left 10 of her upcycled pieces with us, and almost all of them sold immediately. That response confirmed what we already believed: plus-size shoppers are craving bold, creative, expressive options — not just the same silhouettes season after season.

What we love most is that More To Love has become a space — both online and in-store in Asheville, North Carolina — where you can pull a full outfit together in one stop. You might pair Tommy Hilfiger jeans with an Old Navy top and layer it with a Soft Surroundings sweater, all at a fraction of what those pieces originally retailed for. That blend of brands, styles, and price points creates variety that the traditional plus-size retail market often lacks. It allows shoppers to mix aesthetics, experiment with different looks, and build wardrobes that feel personal and expressive — without spending hours at the mall or paying full retail prices.
